Redefining Leadership in (Post) Covid Era

What if our so called ‘external‘ crises are somehow connected to our inner life and self-leadership? How can we be and become more of the person, the leader who helps my-Self and our communities and teams to stay ‘above the line’ and develop solutions that bring us into balance with our environment?

The personal learning journey of ‘kindness to myself’ makes us stronger in facing crises and disruption and turns us into a leader for others too.

Session Goals and Topics

This workshop gives participants an opportunity to learn from an experienced international leadership coach, and discuss and exchange experiences of how to reinforce and strengthen healthy learning and ethical leadership. The topics that will be covered include:

1. How is our definition of leadership changing in 2020?
2. How is the global crisis demanding us to redefine our expectations from leaders?
3. How to foster a culture of learning, cooperation, and a healthy environment?
4. Where does the individual come into the picture?
5. How to adopt a future – oriented approach leading my Self, teams, and organizations?

About the Facilitator

Gerald Renger is a German engineer by education, a passionate change leadership coach and performing artist. Living in Germany, Australia and now Shanghai has allowed him to work with leaders from Europe, the US, China, Japan, Australia, Korea, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and more.

After his Engineering PhD in Chemnitz he started working for Daimler in Stuttgart in 1991 and soon became member in Dieter Zetsche’s change management team. That’s when Gerald began to study change, leadership coaching, group dynamics, and psychology. He has had the invaluable opportunity to directly learn from some of the most advanced scholars like Edgar H. Schein, David Kantor, Larry Hirschhorn, Wolfgang Looss, Hans Jellouschek, Claus Otto Scharmer, Matthias Varga von Kibed, Richard Timel and more. In 1999 he co-founded deloop management consulting in Stuttgart and in 2015 in Asia.

Gerald has coached many leaders and leadership teams of different cultures globally in companies like Daimler, Heidelberger Druck, Atlas, Lufthansa, BMW, VW, Evonic, Porsche, ASAM, Dürr, Deutsche Bahn, Raiffeisen, Rolls Royce and more.
