The Green Lie: Green Drinks November Film Screening

  • 29 November 2018
  • 19:00 - 21:00
  • Haworth Furniture, Shanghai

“When you shop with a conscience, you don’t save the world, you save the corporations”

Environmentally friendly electric cars, sustainably produced food products, fair production processes: Hurray! If everything the corporations tell us is true, we can save the world through our purchasing decisions alone!

A popular and dangerous lie.

In his new documentary film and Green Initiatives' 95th film screening, Werner Boote (Plastic Planet, Everything Under Control) shows us how corporations are seducing consumers with fake promises of organic products and corporate social responsibility. Together with environmental expert Kathrin Hartmann, he shows us how we can protect ourselves.

Film screening will be followed by a short discussion with Robin Dell, Founder and
Director of imondi Flooring. Green Initiatives is thankful to Novalis Innovative Flooring for supporting the event.
