GoEast Talks: Repurposing Waste & Reducing Trash In China

GoEast hosts a talk about living greener in Shanghai, the night will open with a bi-lingual introduction from the GoEast team. The talk from Green Initiatives with run from 19:15-20:00. After the talk, you are encouraged to hang around to discuss the topic and practice your Chinese (with the new vocabulary provided!).

Repurposing Waste & Reducing Trash in China: Addicted to convenience, our current generation is living a use-and-throw lifestyle without any consideration about the resources required to create the stuff we consume everyday; and the waste generated in the process, once we don’t see value in them any longer. At Green Initiatives we see waste as a resource and run different programs to reduce its impact on our health and environments.
