Green Drinks's post-CNY forum, organized by Green Initiatives, will feature Andrew Chang, Program Director at New Energy Nexus, who will talk about digital financial technology (known today as Fintech) which has already disrupted the global financial system, but can it be used directly to improve our planet’s well-being?
Recent improvements to banking, customer experiences, and investment decision-making do not always consider the health of our planet. So how can Fintech be channeled and applied to address climate change?

What is Green Drinks?
Green Drinks is a global, organic, self-organising network of chapters in over 600 cities around the world. The goal of Green Drinks events is to bring people together over casual conversations focused on the environment, that can lead to long-lasting collaborations or simply friendships. Events are very simple and unstructured, but many people have found employment, made friends, developed new ideas, done deals and had moments of serendipity. It's a force for the good and we'd like to help it spread to other cities.
Green Initiatives, infact, evolved from Green Drinks that started its Shanghai chapter in January 2009.
