The Living Building Challenge envisions buildings, modeled after nature, that go beyond current green building practices to actually have a positive impact on the environment and society. Like a flower, each living building project produces as much energy from its roof as it consumes, relies only on the rainwater falling on its roof and is made from completely non-toxic materials.
