The Ecosystem Promise and China Socio Economic Transformation: Green Drinks April Forum

As part of the Dutch Week 2013, Green Drinks Forum this April will feature Meindert Brouwer and Dr Jean Marie Cishayaho, who will speak on his book 'The Ecosystem Promise' and ‘China's Socio Economic Transformation' respectively.
Meindert Brouwer is an independent conservationist and writer from The Netherlands. He specializes in developing and implementing innovative communication and marketing concepts for nature conservation, sustainable development and development cooperation. His previous book Amazon Your Business / Opportunities and solutions in the rainforest has received excellent reviews and has been distributed to 88 countries.
Dr. Jean Marie CISHAHAYO arrived in China in 1987. He is a true specialist on China development issues having witnessed first-hand China’ socio-economic transformation over the last 19 years.
In 1992 Dr. CISHAHAYO earned an undergraduate degree in International Studies from Fudan University, and in 1997 he earned a Master degree in Law & International Political Economy, also from Fudan. He was granted in 1994 an advanced studies Diploma in Chinese Business Law from Beijing University. In 2004 he received a PH.D in Business Administration from Washington Int’l University (USA), specializing in Private sector development policies and Sustainable Development.
His precise presentation topic for the evening would be "China Capabilities and Limitations in Investment and Technology Trade with Africa: How these two markets are forging a more sustainable partnership.”
