What is your ultimate goal in life? One in ten million people answered, "consciousness". Others, on the other hand, responded with success, wealth, power, etc. Through various interpretations of life, the film "unity" is dedicated to all people who pursue a deeper meaning of survival and seek a way to live in harmony with others. Imagine a world that does not depend on the opposite (US / them, wealth / poverty, black / white, gay / heterosexual, human / animal), but exists in the pursuit of integrity. Unity presents our completely equal world outlook, even if we are different: humans, animals and trees.
Unity is a film written and filmed by director Sean Mohsen (founder of nation earth) in the past five years. It will be released in 2012. The film consists of the following six parts: body, spirit, heart, soul, with the prelude and ending.
The film focuses on the indifference and resonance of human nature. Sean described that "all things in one" is a film about opposites, or we can say, "why do we still feel the opposition between each other despite our religious beliefs (religious beliefs exist in 88% of the world), self-help books, twelve step treatment schemes and even philosophy and technology."
"All things in one" will present a complex mosaic of pictures of daily life, with mixed joys and sorrows. The film is full of joy, surprise, sadness and maturity. Like Sean's previous film Earthlings, this film once again tries to lead the audience to novel and interesting scenes by combining unprecedented beauty and heartbreaking tragedy. Although it is a warning documentary, the film also hopes to spread grace, philosophy and consciousness to more people than before.
For the film "citizen of the earth", it has become one of the focuses in the history of documentary film by virtue of its most imaginative description and the unprecedented honor of documentary film, especially the difficulty of the theme. Although the film was not favored by the distributors when it was first released in 2005, it has an indisputable impact on subsequent documentaries on the same theme, including three films released by HBO: dealing dogs (2006), I am an animal (2007) and industrial farm Massacre (2009) (death on a factory farm, 2009), and two films nominated for Oscar Awards in 2010: Food Inc. and the cove, which won the best documentary award.
"All in one" continues the unfinished road of "earth citizen". It explores the binary relationship between human beings, rather than the relationship between human beings and animals. Therefore, we hope to use this film to show the main difference between indifference and resonance, so that viewers can understand that we, whether human beings, animals or trees, all come from a common root, that is, the earth.
