E-Waste Experiences from Wisconsin

An evening with visiting expert, Neil Peters-Michaud, who has extensive experience in the e-waste management sector in the United States, as he visits Shanghai to learn and share his knowledge on this sector.

As many of us are already aware, e-waste is a growing problem. According to a STEP report, is currently the world's fastest growing waste field. Efficient recycling and waste management practices are the need of the hour, as much as is keeping a control on our consumption.

About Neil Peters-Michaul

Neil founded Cascade Asset Management Company in Madison, Wisconsin (US), 18 years ago, and is also on the Steering Committee of the Coalition for American Electronics Recycling, am a member of the Joint Committee developing a new EPEAT standard for servers, and I am on the Board of the University of Wisconsin’s Weinert Center for Entrpreneurship. Through his founding of Cascade, He will be able to share many lessons learned, though he believes there’s still so much more to learn. Neil has actively published articles and presented at industry trade shows, and is keen to further communicate and share this experience with the greater community in China, so others can gain from his experience in the PFP.
