Waste-less Stories Art Exhibition

How much trash do you throw away each day? Now take that and multiply it with the world’s largest population. Then ask yourself, how much of that can be broken down and how much of that will still be here after we are gone... Who will be affected?

China is the number 1 trash and garbage producer in the world, producing 260 million tons of garbage a year. Almost 50% of all seabirds have ingested plastic. Annually approximately 500 billion plastic bags are used worldwide. More than one million bags are used every minute. Only 5% of waste plastic is effectively recycled.

Waste Less Art Exhibition Shanghai is challenging people challenging the people of Shanghai Collect and carry with 7 days of trash, then share their stories through art.
