Introducing the Living Building Challenge 3.0 + Cocktail Reception

  • 22-10-2018 13:00 - 20:00
  • Gensler Office, Shanghai

The Living Building Challenge™ is the most rigorous performance standard for the built environment. It calls for the creation of building projects at all scales that operate as cleanly, beautifully and efficiently as nature’s architecture. To be certified under the Challenge, projects must meet a series of ambitious performance requirements, including net zero energy, waste, and water over a minimum of 12 months of continuous occupancy.

The challenge also ensures the creation of truly healthy sustainable spaces that promote occupant health, well-being and productivity.

The workshop provides an in-depth introduction to the Living Building Challenge ideology, the certification process and its application in the Chinese Market.

Schedule

  • Workshop: 13:00 - 17:00
  • Cocktail Reception: 17:00 - 20:00

** Architects / designers may also be interested in a Roundtable on 'mindful Materials' between 19:00-20:00. For more information visit this link.
