About Peggy Chan, Founder, Grassroots Pantry Hong Kong
Peggy Chan is the chef-founder of Grassroots Pantry, Hong Kong's leading meat-free eatery, a prolific public speaker, and a key driver of Hong Kong's green-eating movement, to find out how she was able to merge a career built in the city's top Michelin star-studded establishments with her passion for serving the community.
On why Peggy started Grassroots Pantry she says,
"I wanted to devote my life to a non-profit but I also have a career built in food and beverage, so I started to think: how am I able to make both meet? How do I service the community but still do what I love to do? That was how Grassroots Pantry came about.”
This is not a Green Initiatives-organized event. To register for this event please contact the organizers directly.
